I'm 6ft4 and I'm 40 years old. It frustrates me when people say "once you hit 40 it's over! you can't get into great physical shape!" Yet I've seen, on this channel, men and women in their 50's with incredible fitness and physique! It's total bullcrap to say it's not possible. Eating doesn't have to be expensive. My local supermarket has "REDUCED" meat twice a week, meat that needs to be consumed within the next couple of days. I bulk buy that and put it in my freezer. It's mostly beef but I've gotten into the habit of stockpiling meat in my freezer. So, when I go to the supermarket, I'll buy 8 chicken breasts and a LOT of beef like steak, etc. then put it in my freezer. Heck I'll even buy enough salmon to last a week just to mix it up up but I don't eat salmon every day as it's apparently not good for you to do that. I feel that knowing that you don't have a stable backup of protein/meat can kinda be a bit depressing because it's such a fundamental staple in ones daily meals. Eggs and meat are a part of my daily eating habits. I eat 4 to 5 meals a day and they all have protein in them. Even if I can't afford meat one week, I'll make sure I have enough eggs because I've learned just how important protein is and how damaging it can be to the body not to consume it regularly.
